New Drone Rules Challenged by Lawsuits
Recent lawsuits filed by model aircraft enthusiasts, university researchers and commercial drone interests challenge a new government directive by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that broadens the ban on commercial drone flights. Distinguishing the difference in the use of drones has been challenging for the FAA, which is required by law to issue rules pertaining to the use of commercial drones by late 2015.
