New Hires Named at The McIntyre Group
New Jersey-based The McIntyre Group announced the hiring of two senior executives as the brokerage and consulting firm continues to expand the depth of its senior executive team.
Thomas Kolongowski has been named marketing executive and will join The McIntyre Group’s new business development team. Luanne Vester has been named director of claims management.
Commenting on his firm’s new employees, President and CEO, Tony McIntyre stated, “We are most fortunate to have recruited such talented and experienced executives in Tom and Luanne. As we continue to build our book of business, Tom will bring both his business and U.S. Navy experience to bear on our growth plan. Luanne is a very knowledgeable veteran claims expert. She will be heading up one of our most important departments, Claims Management. Tom and Luanne will help The McIntyre Group expand our business reach and client service offerings.”
Kolongowski graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps. While serving in the Navy, Tom was assigned to a Seabee Combat Warfare unit and also served as Department Head for the U.S. Navy Aviation Supply Office for the F-14 Fighter Aircraft division. Following his military service, he was a financial planner for Creative Financial Group and most recently was a senior member of the sales team at The Graham Company in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining The McIntyre Group, Vester was a senior account representative at American International Group (AIG) where she was responsible for overseeing multi-jurisdictional claims activity for middle market and national accounts. In her 21 years in the industry, she has received three Meritorious Service Awards and held positions as a litigation specialist, multi-lines supervisor and environmental claims manager. She has experience with both personal and commercial lines of business.
