Maine Changes Licensing Exam Provider
As of July 1, 2004, Maine resident insurance producers, consultants, and adjusters will be taking their licensing examinations through a new testing provider. The Bureau of Insurance has awarded a three year testing contract to Experior Assessments, LLC (“Experior”). Experior will provide test development and administration for all Maine’s individual insurance licensing examinations.
The examination contract with the current provider, Promissor, ends on June 30, 2004. Anyone wishing to take an examination prior to the new contract date of July 1, 2004, should contact Promissor, at www.promissor.com, or by telephone at (800) 274-4959.
Individuals wishing to take an exam on or after July 1, 2004, should visit Experior’s website at www.experioronline.com, or call their Candidate Services Call Center at (800) 813-6737. Experior will begin accepting exam reservations on June 21, 2004. Examination instructions and content outlines are already available on Experior’s website to allow individuals time to study examination topics.
