GAB Robins Notes Executive Changes
New Jersey-based GAB Robins announced that Joseph Zubretsky,
president and CEO of the GAB Robins Group of Companies, has resigned from the company effective March 15.
Zubretsky will be joining UnumProvident Corporation as senior executive vice president and will retain his seat on the Board of Directors of GAB Robins. Direct reporting management will continue
to report to the Office of the Chairman headed by Jun Tsusaka, chairman of the GAB Robins Group of Companies.
The Board of Directors of GAB Robins North America also announced
that it has elected incumbents Robert Meyers and Paul Bode to the newly created positions of divisional president, Insurance Company Services (ICS), and divisional president, Risk Management Services (RMS) and MedInsights, respectively.
Meyers and Bode will report directly to Tsusaka. Additionally, Jim Girard has been named divisional executive vice president and COO, Insurance Company Services, reporting to Meyers.
Jim Girard will now head the newly created regional structure that serves the company across the U.S.
Prior to joining GAB Robins in 2000, Meyers was a managing director at Marsh Inc. Bode, new to GAB Robins in 2005, held senior executive positions at Comp Management, GENEX Services and Sullivan Health Management Services prior to joining GAB Robins. Girard, a veteran of GAB Robins since 1974, began his career as an adjuster and held positions of increasing seniority through the years.
