Fire Equipment Stolen from New Hampshire Department
Police in Richmond, N.H. are trying to figure out who stole thousands of dollars in fire department equipment from the fire house.
Firefighters made the discovery when they arrived at a medical call. When they reached for medical bags, they realized they had been stolen from the rescue truck. Crews sped back to the station for backup equipment.
Afterward, they noticed someone had stolen four of 12 brand new breathing kits from the station. The $5,000 kits had just been bought with a federal grant.
Firefighters say they are shocked, and angry, that someone would steal their emergency gear.
