6 Collisions Confirm Moose on the Move In N.H.
Just last week, Fish and Game warned New Hampshire drivers that moose were on the move, and likely to wander onto roads. That’s certainly happening in the northern part of the state, where state police reported they responded to at least six moose collisions during the week.
No one was hurt in the crashes in Jefferson, Woodstock, Green’s Grant, Warren, Randolph and Lincoln. Local police reported other collisions, including one in Lancaster on Thursday when a town police officer rounded a curve and hit a moose with his cruiser. The officer wasn’t hurt, and the moose rolled over, got up and walked away.
