New Maryland Deputy Insurance Chief Henneman to Lead Fraud Fight
Maryland Insurance Commissioner Ralph S. Tyler has named
Carolyn H. Henneman as associate commissioner to oversee the Insurance Fraud Division, which investigates and prosecutes cases of criminal insurance fraud in cooperation with the attorney general and state police.
Most recently, Henneman served as an international prosecutor with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, where she specialized in issues of corruption, financial crimes and human trafficking. For nearly 20 years prior to that, she worked as an assistant attorney general in Maryland. She also has more than 10 years of experience in private practice and as an assistant United States attorney in New York.
