New Jersey Woman Run over by Her Own Car
A 58-year-old woman in Lower Township, New Jersey is recovering after being run over by her own car.
The accident happened Monday afternoon when Patricia Shephard was pulling out of her driveway of her Lower Township home and forgot she put a cup of hot tea on the roof of her car.
Police say some of the tea spilled on her arm, panicking her and causing her to jump out of the car.
But it was in reverse and still moving. It ran over her leg and pelvis, finally coming to rest on a neighbor’s lawn.
