Trial to Begin in Lawsuit Against Maryland Blogger
The lawsuit filed by a Salisbury, Md. police chief against an Internet blogger is scheduled to go to trial in Worcester County District Court.
Chief Allan Webster filed the nearly $10,000 lawsuit last March against Joseph Albero, claiming Albero defamed his character with false statements about him on Albero’s blog. Webster also claims his privacy was invaded.
Albero is frequently critical of Lower Shore public officials on his Web site, Salisbury News.
