Two New York City Window Washers Die in Accident
New York City police say two men washing windows at a building in downtown Manhattan were killed when the vehicle carrying their lift tipped over.
Detective John Sweeney says the accident occurred early Tuesday at the World Financial Center, just across the street from ground zero. He says the men were working when the contraption fell. They were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The men, both in their 30s, have not been identified.
