Maryland Man Injured by Forklift
Fire officials in Baltimore County, Maryland say a worker was seriously injured when a forklift he was operating fell on him in Arbutus.
The accident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Monday at Winkler’s, a welding company, in the 4300 block of Southwestern Boulevard.
The worker, who was moving steeling materials on pallets, was pinned when the forklift tilted and fell. Officials say employees at Winkler’s stabilized the forklift until emergency crews arrived.
Rescuers used high-pressure air bags to free the man. He was taken to Shock Trauma.
