Antique Autos and Motorcycles Stolen in Maine
Sheriff’s officials are investigating the theft of three antique automobiles and about 20 antique motorcycles from a remote farmhouse in Orneville Township, Maine.
Lt. Robert Young of the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department said thieves ripped the doors off their hinges to the farmhouse and all the outbuildings on the property.
Among the vehicles taken were an older International Scout, a 1950s pickup truck and a 1960 convertible.
Young said the property owners live elsewhere in the state and there has not yet been a full accounting of what was taken.
He suspects the theft is connected to several other recent break-ins at camps in the remote area.
