Delaware Police Investigate Theft of $200K Lamp
Police in Smyrna, Delaware are investigating the theft of nine lamps, including one worth $200,000.
Police say thieves stole a Tiffany Wisteria lamp worth $200,000 and eight other lamps were taken from a home in the 500 block of Marilyn Road. The theft happened Thursday morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Neighbors told police a gray or silver Mercedes Benz hatchback was parked in the driveway when the thefts reportedly happened. Police say the car may have had a Mercedes Benz license plate on the front bumper.
