13 School Buses Damaged or Destroyed in New Jersey Fire
Thirteen yellow school buses have been damaged or destroyed in a suspicious fire at a New Jersey yard.
A nearby resident tells police several loud explosions preceded the blaze early Tuesday morning in a South Brunswick parking lot owned by First Student Bus Service.
The lot has no overnight security.
Seven buses were destroyed. Six were damaged by heat and left unusable.
Police spokesman Hugh McNeil says investigators have determined the fire wasn’t accidental. The investigation is continuing.
There’s been no immediate estimate of the financial loss.
