Delaware Manufacturer Fined $64K for Safety Violations
A Delaware company has been cited by the federal government for health and safety violations that carry fines of nearly $64,000.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Wednesday cited Amer Industrial Technologies for 41 violations including unsafe storage of flammable liquids, unguarded machinery and a lack of “caution” signs.
The company designs and manufactures nuclear and non-nuclear pressure vessels and employs 30 workers. It has 15 business days to correct the problems, ask to meet with OSHA or contest the citations.
