Arson Damages 19th-Century Home in Maryland
State fire investigators say a 19th-Century home in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland was damaged by arson.
Fire broke out early Friday morning at the unoccupied home on Broad Street in Crumpton and was discovered by a passer-by. Firefighters spent an hour putting it under control. The blaze caused $60,000 in damage to the home, which was built in 1889.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the blaze as arson.
