18th-Century New Hampshire Home Destroyed in Arson
New Hampshire fire officials say a fire that destroyed an 18th Century colonial home in Rochester was arson.
Firefighter say the 21/2-story home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived just before noon on Sunday. There were no injuries.
Assistant Fire Chief Richard Giguere tells Foster’s Daily Democrat there was no saving the structure.
Investigators say there was no power running to the home and it didn’t take long after the blaze for firefighters to rule out accidental causes.
