Teen Girls to Face Charges in Arson at Old New Hampshire Home
New Hampshire fire investigators and police say two teenage girls set the fire that destroyed an 18th-century Colonial home in Rochester.
Police Capt. Paul Callaghan and Fire Marshal Mark Dupuis tell Foster’s Daily Democrat the girls will be charged with arson and will be tried in juvenile court.
Authorities say the girls are 13- and 14-years-old. Their names have been withheld because they are juveniles.
The two-alarm fire was reported around noon Sunday at the vacant home on Old Dover Road. Crews from seven fire companies responded to the fire.
