Small Plane Goes off Runway in Maryland
Fire officials in Montgomery County, Maryland say a small plane went off the runway into woods at the county Airpark.
Fire Department spokesman Capt. Oscar Garcia says it happened Monday afternoon at the airpark in Gaithersburg.
He says firefighters arrived to find the plane off the runway, but there was no fire or smoke.
The pilot, the only person on board, was being evaluated. Garcia says it is not clear if the plane was taking off or landing.
