Worker Pinned Under Forklift at Connecticut Company
Police in Middletown, Connecticut say a man has been critically injured after being pinned under a forklift.
The incident happened early Wednesday at Plastic Design International Co., where the employee was driving a forklift down a driveway when he lost control and it rolled over on him.
Firefighters used air bags to lift the vehicle off the worker.
Police say the man, whose name hasn’t been released, is in critical condition at Hartford Hospital. Police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.
