Cumberland Appoints Ritter as CEO
New Jersey-based The Cumberland Insurance Group has named Paul J. Ritter III president and CEO, following the retirement of current president and CEO Robert P. Brady after 33 years of service.
Ritter joined Cumberland in 1999 as the assistant secretary to the board of directors. Prior to joining Cumberland Insurance, Ritter served as senior vice president, CFO, and corporate secretary for the Farmers and Merchants National Bank and as an attorney for the law firm of Chance and McCann.
Ritter is also an adjunct professor of Business Law at Cumberland County College, and is also active in the community serving as the Deputy Mayor of Hopewell Township, New Jersey
Brady will continue to serve on the company’s board.
