Fire at Delaware Car Dealer Injures 3, Causes Damage
A fire that broke out at a Delaware car dealership injured three people and caused $400,000 in damages.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office says the accidental blaze ignited Friday afternoon at Camden-Wyoming Auto Sales in Kent County. When firefighters arrived they found the building engulfed in flames.
Three people suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation. They were taken to a local hospital. The injuries were not considered life threatening.
Investigators say workers were removing stereo equipment from a vehicle that was leaking gas. Shortly after, vapors were ignited.
Six vehicles were heavily damaged, along with the building.
