Delaware House Fire Caused by Arson
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says arson was the cause of a house fire in New Castle.
Firefighters responded to the home around 2:30 Sunday morning. The occupants were alerted to the fire by working smoke detectors and escaped without injury.
The fire was quickly extinguished. Damage to the home is estimated at $10,000.
Anyone with information about the arson is asked to contact the fire marshal.
