Delaware Governor Vetoes Motorcycle Helmet Bill
Delaware Gov. Jack Markell has vetoed a bill that would have repealed the requirement that people operating a motorcycle carry a safety helmet.
Markell vetoed House Bill 95 on Thursday, saying the helmet requirement saves lives.
Delaware law requires that a motorcyclist have a safety helmet while riding, even if he or she is not wearing it.
