Vermont Couple Charged With Burning Down Auto Business
A Vermont couple have been charged with burning down their own auto dealership business.
Ed and Tammy Davis of Fair Haven have been charged with arson following the Sunday night fire at Ed Davis Auto and RV.
The Rutland Herald reports the business’s service garage was destroyed and the sales side of the building sustained intense heat and water damage.
Following the fire, investigators with Vermont State Police and the Division of Fire Safety searched the scene and determined the fire was set deliberately. The investigation alleges the Davises were responsible.
The 49-year-old Ed Davis and 46-year-old Tammy Davis are schedule to appear in court on May 20.
