New Jersey Man Sues after Punk Rock Mosh Pit Injuries
A New Jersey man says he was banged around at a Pittsburgh punk rock concert, but he’s not happy about it.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Thursday that 24-year-old Joseph Pignatiello of Pompton Plains, N.J. has filed a lawsuit over injuries he allegedly sustained.
Pignatiello claims he attended an April, 2011 concert at Mr. Small’s Fun House. The lawsuit claims other concert goers pulled him into a mosh pit and threw him around, breaking his knee and spraining his shoulder.
The lawsuit claims the club owners, a band, and a production company “failed to prevent aggressive, intoxicated, drugged and/or otherwise impaired individuals from forming a mosh pit.”
A message machine at the club was full and the owners couldn’t be reached for comment.
