Three Arrested in Slashings of 39 Cars in Philadelphia
Three people are charged with slashing tires and damaging the paint on dozens of cars in a Philadelphia, Pa., neighborhood.
Police say two men and a woman each are charged with 39 counts of criminal mischief, 39 counts of possessing instruments of crime, and 39 counts of conspiracy.
Police say all of the vehicles were either keyed or had tires slashed. They say the suspects used knives and targeted vehicles in a downtown neighborhood near Graduate Hospital.
Surveillance video of the suspects was released on Friday. Authorities were originally looking for four people but later said the fourth man seen on video is not a suspect.
Investigators say the suspects live in the area of the crimes but would not release specifics.
