Virginia Fire Injures Resident, Firefighter
Fairfax County fire officials are investigating a house fire that injured a resident and a firefighter.
The fire was reported around 9 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of E. Columbia Street in Falls Church, Va.
Officials say one resident sustained first-degree burns but didn’t go to the hospital. A county firefighter was taken to a hospital to be treated for a laceration.
The cause remains under investigation, and damages are estimated to be more than $250,000.
