Fire at Laconia Building Causes $1M in Damage
A fire has caused over $1 million in damage to a 27,000-square-foot building in Laconia, N.H., that houses several businesses.
The fire at the former Skate escape/Aubuchon Hardware building happened early Sunday.
No one was hurt and the firefighters are investigating the cause.
Current tenants at the building include LRG Healthcare’s laundry facility, Little Caesars Pizza and Northeast Electrical Solutions.
Officials say the front part of the building was to be torn down to help make way for an Advanced Auto Parts Store that is in the early stages of construction in the southwest corner of the lot.
