Popular Vermont Restaurant Back in Business After Irene
A popular Vermont restaurant that closed after it was flooded by Tropical Storm Irene is back in business, and open seven days a week.
The grand opening for Dot’s Restaurant in Wilmington was held on Dec. 12.
Dot’s had closed after Tropical Storm Irene left the restaurant and many other businesses on the same street flooded in 2011. Dot’s suffered additional damage due to its proximity to the Deerfield River.
The owners tell the Brattleboro Reformer the final phase of construction was completed recently and that opening again is a relief, and exciting.
