According to the Daily News, Shroff says he returned home from work on Oct. 9, 2013 to find nearly all the contents of his $1,700 apartment had been cleaned out.
The suit seeks an unspecified amount of money from building owner Goldie Holding Co. and management Mautner-Glick Corp.
The News says attempts to reach them were unsuccessful.
Apart from furniture and clothing, Shroff says he lost irreplaceable personal items.
