Investigators Probe Cause of Delaware Fire
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that did extensive damage to a home in the Delaware City area.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the blaze was reported shortly after 5 p.m.
Damage to the home is estimated at $100,000. No one was injured. A resident escaped after being alerted by a smoke alarm.
The fire marshal’s office says the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
