Police Investigate Richmond Home Burglaries
Richmond police are investigating two separate residential burglaries that occurred in the Vermont communities during the day.
In both incidents, on Hinesburg Road and Locust Knoll Road, the suspect or suspects entered the dwellings through a rear, unobserved door. In one case the door was forced open. In the other no force was used.
The homeowners lost jewelry, electronics, and, in one case, firearms.
The total losses are estimated to be at least $14,000.
Anyone with information, tips, or suspicions is encouraged to call the Richmond police.
