Navigators Pro Debuts EPL Analtex – EPL Policy
Navigators Pro, a division of Navigators Management Company, a subsidiary of The Navigators Group, Inc., has introduced EPL Analytex(SM) its Employment Practices Liability Policy.
EPL Analytex(SM) responds to the needs of small to medium-sized corporations for an increased level of financial security from both the skyrocketing defense costs and economic damage awards associated with employment related litigation. The EPL Analytex(SM) product is underwritten by Navigators Insurance Company and NIC Insurance Company, which are both rated “A” (Excellent) by A. M. Best.
Chris Duca, President of Navigators Pro, noted, “Corporations are exposed to a heightened level of litigation brought by its employees, customers and vendors for sexual harassment and discrimination. Our EPL Analytex(SM) product, in conjunction with efficacious risk management strategies, provides security for corporations, its management and directors.” Duca added, “EPL Analytex(SM) further strengthens our capability of offering bespoke insurance solutions to our policyholders.”
Christine Schneider, assistant vice president of Navigators Pro, leads the initiative. Prior to joining Navigators, she served as vice president and Employment Practices Liability Department manager of the Hartford Financial Products unit of The Hartford.
The EPL Analytex(SM) policy protects employers for covered loss alleging violations of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Sections 501 and 502 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Titles I and V of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Family Medical and Leave Act of 1993, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, and Sections 806 and 1107 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Coverage is also provided for claims involving U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission administrative actions, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and discrimination.
