Crawford & Co. Adds to Global Property & Casualty Unit Presence
Jeffrey Bowman, chief operating officer, Crawford’s Global Property & Casualty Services, reported the following management changes implemented to drive globally consistent service and a client centric approach to all property and casualty clients worldwide.
Effective immediately, Global Property & Casualty Services has been streamlined into four regions, U.S., EMEA, Americas, and Asia-Pacific, to improve the chain of command, drive new process efficiencies, and allow for greater accountability. The leaders in each of the regions are:
Philip Porter, United States
Ian Muress, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
Glenn Gibson, Americas (Canada, Latin America & Caribbean)
Richard Martin, Asia-Pacific
In addition, the following changes have been announced:
Americas – John Sharoun has been promoted to CEO of Crawford Adjusters Canada. Mauricio Alonso and Tom Dawson remain regional managing directors of Latin America and the Caribbean, respectively. Puerto Rico will now become a part of the Latin America region.
EMEA – Mark Harman will remain regional managing director for the Continental European territories and Benedict Burke has been appointed chief operating officer for the U.K. and Ireland.
“We continually evaluate and improve how we develop and deliver our P&C services globally, to make certain we bring real value to our clients. Given the size, strength, and breadth of our global portfolio of services, we believe we can truly offer the best claims solutions — by better leveraging our diverse knowledge, skills, and competencies — for the benefit of clients in any part of the globe,” said Bowman.
