Ricardo Ortega Named Crawford Claims Manager in Brazil

Crawford & Company has named Ricardo Ortega as manager of its claim operations in Brazil. Based in Sao Paulo, he will report to Mauricio Alonso, senior vice president and regional managing director for Latin America.

Ortega will be responsible for overseeing all claim operations in Brazil, servicing client needs, developing new services and products and growing Crawford’s business in the region.

Ortega’s industry experience includes increasing management and executive responsibilities in the areas of claims, insurance placement, and business development. An experienced adjuster, he has managed highly complex property, casualty and marine claims for major brokers and insurers.
