Miller Appoints Poon as Head of Claims – Asia

Miller Insurance Services LLP, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, operating internationally and at Lloyd’s, appointed experienced market figure Alvin Poon to head up its claims team in Asia.

The company handles reinsurance, complex large commercial insurance business and programm & facilities.

Poon has almost three decades of insurance market experience, primarily in claims but also in underwriting and compliance.

Adept at recovering losses across most classes, he held the position of claims manager at XL Re Ltd before joining Miller. Based in Singapore, he will co-ordinate Miller’s claims handling in Asia, working alongside broking, account handling and claims specialists throughout the business.
