Ill. Doctors Protest Premiums in Capitol Rotunda
Approximately 300 Illinois doctors, most from the Chicago area, staged a “white-coat rally” in the rotunda of the state’s capitol in Springfield on Wednesday.
Illinois already has limits on non-economic and punitive awards in health care cases, but doctors are looking to other solutions, such as better physician training programs.
The doctors said they all arranged to have their patients taken care of by other doctors during their trip to the capital.
