PMA Reinsurance Selects Stellent Content Management to Streamline, Automate Claims Process

Minnesota-based Stellent, Inc., a global provider of content management solutions, announced that PMA Reinsurance, a domestic property and casualty reinsurance company, has selected Stellent® Content Management to streamline and automate its claims handling process.

Stellent Content Management will reportedly enhance the automation of PMA Re’s claims processing workflows to improve control and flow of information across the organization and will allow employees to more easily access claims and supporting documentation through Stellent’s secure, Web-based repository. The Stellent system will enable PMA Re to more easily manage the claims routing and approval process, regardless of whether the information is transmitted via e-mail, fax or hard copy; the technology will also automatically convert claims and related documents to the appropriate, Web-viewable format for quick, easy access by users. In addition, Stellent Content Management will improve PMA Re’s auditing capabilities by enhancing the accuracy of data collection regarding which individual performed a particular task for a specific claim.
