Mo. Limit on Malpractice Non-Economic Damages Goes to $565,000
The Missouri limit on non-economic damages for medical malpractice awards has increased to $565,000, or by 1.4 percent from last year’s cap of $557,000
State law (Section 538.210) requires MDI to adjust the cap on non-economic damages annually, according to the “implicit price deflator for personal consumption expenditures” published by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis.
