Progressive Offers Commercial Auto in Dakotas
The Mayfield Village, Ohio-based Progressive group of insurance companies, the country’s number one monoline commercial auto insurer, has announced plans to start selling its commercial auto product in both North and South Dakota. The product will be available through almost 300 South Dakota independent agents after Feb. 20, and more than 250 independent agents in North Dakota on March 2.
Progressive specializes in writing small businesses, but will insure small fleets of up to 20 power vehicles and offer limits of up to $1 million. The companies also offer flexible payment options, such as electronic funds transfer and secure online payment processing via credit or debit card.
Progressive’s claims service is available to customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and features approximately 30 claims specialists throughout the country who focus exclusively on large truck claims.
