Argonaut Appoints Huckemeyer as Midwest Reg. VP
Argonaut Group Inc. announced that Daniel Huckemeyer has been appointed Midwest Regional vice president of Argonaut Insurance Company.
“Daniel brings nearly twenty years of experience in Risk Management to this role and will provide focus and energy in managing the underwriting, safety, and claims operations of the Midwest Region,” said John Gantz, Argonaut president.
Prior to joining Argonaut Insurance Company, Huckemeyer was the Western Region, senior vice president for ACE Risk Management. He also served as managing director and underwriting director for the Large Casualty Division, Pacific & Western Region of St. Paul Travelers.
Huckemeyer succeeds David Ashcraft, who has been appointed to the new position of vice president of Marketing for the Specialty Commercial segment. The Specialty Commercial segment is comprised of Great Central Insurance Company, Grocers Insurance, and Rockwood Casualty Insurance Company.
Huckemeyer and Ashcraft will be based in Chicago.
