QCSA, Metro Salvage Pool Note Merger
QCSA Auto Auctions and Metro Salvage Pool Inc. announced their agreement to combine the Metro Salvage Pool Des Moines facility into a major new salvage operation named QCSA-Metro.
The 10-acre Des Moines Metropolitan operation expands QCSA’s presence to six Midwestern salvage facilities. QCSA-Metro will utilize QCSA’s operational process and introduce improved technology to the Iowa customer base. The terms of the merger include the retention of the staff and management of Metro Salvage Pool Inc.
“We are very fortunate to be teaming up with such an experienced group as Metro,” stated Jerry Sullivan, QCSA Executive VP. “This operation enables QCSA to solidify statewide coverage in Iowa, without the usual ramp-up time necessary to build an experienced staff or buyer base that you get from a new greenfield. Metro brings a wealth of knowledge to the operation.”
