November 2, 2005

QCSA Auto Auctions announced the opening of its first salvage auction in the state of Indiana. The 15-acre facility is located in Hammond and includes an indoor appraisal and vehicle evaluation area.

“We continue to grow in the Chicago area and have a need for additional storage and sales capacity,” stated Jerry Sullivan, executive vice president. “Customer demand also made Northern Indiana the logical choice to support our future growth as well.”

On a related topic, QCSA also announced the hiring of Paul Weekes to head up its Chicago region. Weekes is a veteran of the salvage auction industry and his regional operations center will be based out of the Bartlett, Ill., auction facility.

Headquartered in Eldridge, Iowa, QCSA provides salvage auction and total loss management services in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
