Automated Benefits, Farmers Mutual of Nebraska Partner on Software
Symbility Solutions Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Automated Benefits Corp., has signed a five year contract with Farmers Mutual of Nebraska to provide the company with its mobile claims processing software replacing a competing software vendor.
Farmers Mutual of Nebraska is the first major U.S. insurance company to deploy Symbility’s software for its claims processing solution. Farmers Mutual of Nebraska is now rolling out Symbility’s software platform companywide for use by all of its claims adjusters in the field.
Available for tablet and pocket PCs with integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS/1X wireless technology, the Symbility Solutions system reportedly allows adjusters and contractors to write estimates and process claims on-site with greater accuracy and to settle claims more quickly. Symbility’s solution is a software service model that is web-based and it is not licensed, not copy-protected and has no restrictions on where claims adjusters can install it and use it. Users pay a per claim fee for using the software.
Founded in 1891, Farmers Mutual of Nebraska provides services in Nebraska and South Dakota.
