Mich. Retailer Recalls 2,184 Pounds of Frozen Entrees
Meijer Incorporated is voluntarily recalling more than 2,000 pounds of frozen entrees from stores in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.
The Michigan retailer said federal officials’ testings showed possible contamination with listeria, a microorganism capable of causing illness or death.
No illnesses have been reported.
The recall affects 12-ounce packages of Discover Cuisine Red Curry Chicken and Jasmine Rice. The packages have a Canadian establishment number of 302 on the front and “use by” date of Dec. 18, 2008.
The entrees may be returned for a refund or exchange.
