Nebraska Fire Official: Papillion Fire was Arson
Fire officials have determined that a Halloween blaze at a Papillion, Neb. apartment building was intentionally set.
Fire Chief Bill Bowes said the state fire marshal’s office found that someone started Friday night’s fire at Tara Heights Apartments from inside the building.
No arrests have been made.
Bowes says 11 of the 12 apartments sustained fire, smoke or water damage, displacing several residents. Damage is estimated at tens of thousands of dollars.
