Deer Collisions in Homes On the Rise
Talk about a drop-in.
A 6-point buck surprised an Oakland County, Michigan family when it smashed through a picture window into their home.
The Detroit News reports the deer was bleeding when Keith Luke found it in the study of his West Bloomfield Township ranch Sunday morning.
Luke says he opened the front door to allow the animal to leave. Luke tells the newspaper he doubts the deer survived its injuries. He was unsure what happened to the buck after it fled his home.
Deer are common in the area, about 20 miles northwest of Detroit, but police say it’s extremely rare for one to jump through a window into a home.
