Preferred Professional Insurance Adds Packard in Claims Department
Omaha, Neb.-based Preferred Professional Insurance Company (PPIC), an Omaha-based Catholic-owned medical liability insurance firm, has added Jan Packard as Claims assistant.
Packard will be responsible for administrative duties within the Claims Department. She has extensive experience in the legal field. The last several years she has worked as a legal assistant or paralegal. She holds a degree in business administration with an emphasis in legal assistant studies from Avila College in Kansas City, Mo. She is a member of the Nebraska Association of Legal Assistants.
PPIC specializes in medical liability insurance for physicians associated with its nationwide network of Catholic health care owner systems. Founded in 1987, the company is dedicated to supporting the health care ministry of its owners by providing an array of insurance products and related services.
