1 Killed, 1 Injured in Propane Tank Explosion at Minnesota Farm Supply
One young man was killed and another injured after a propane tank exploded at a farm supply company in Minnesota.
The victim was an employee of Waconia Farm Supply. His name has not been released, but friends told the Star Tribune he was a high school senior.
Carver County Sheriff’s Lt. Dave Williams said the tank exploded around 5 p.m. June 10. Authorities were investigating.
The injured person had wounds that were not life-threatening.
Waconia Farm Supply has more than 100 employees and sells farm equipment, lawn and garden supplies, fuel and feed. Waconia is about 25 miles west of Minneapolis.
